Instant booking availableDay 01: Brasília/Chapada dos Veadeiros - Arrive in Brasilia and transfer to Chapada gateway city of São Jorge - Approx 3h - Free day.
Day 02: Chapada dos Veadeiros - Trail in the Vale da Lua (Moon Valley) (1,2km - easy level - 20min - 2,4km total). One of the highlights and its the most visited place, the valley was carved by the São Miguel river throughout millions of years creating an impressive geological formation that reminds of Moon´s surface. The place is pointed by lagoons and waterfalls. After Vale da Lua, trail in Salto do Raizama, a beautifull and singular canyon formed by the waters of the São Miguel river too. Snacks and sandwiches included during the trail and lunch in the Village of São Jorge.
Day 03: Chapada dos Veadeiros National Parks - Trail to visit the Rio Preto Falls. It´s one of the highlights and the postcard of Chapada. It is possible to see during the trail the special ecosystems of the brazilian savannah and the crystal(quartz) mines. – Snacks and sandwiches included. Lunch on the way back to the Village of São Jorge. (5km - medium-hard level - 1:40hr - 10km total)
Day 04: Kalunga community - Tour to the Kalunga Community, formed by runaway slaves settled in Cavalcante more than 200 years ago, grouped in a community of slaves (Quilombo) who escaped from their “owners” and chose that area due to its hard access and isolation. We will be able to experience a culture mixed by African and Native American people living in the Cerrado. The tour also includes a trekking to the Santa Barbara’s waterfall, considered one of the most beautiful water in the Chapada, including a refreshing bath and free dive at the emerald-green waters of Santa Barbara lagoon, a natural pool filled with springs that come from the ground, cooling you down into an amazing experience! (5km - medium level - 1:20hr - 10km total)
Day 05: Cavalcante - During the morning, hikking to the São Bartolomeu’s waterfall (1,7km - easy level – 25min. - 3,4km total) walking in a trail among the canals built by the former slaves that lived in the area hundreds of years ago. Lunch included. Afternoon: Transfer from Cavalcante to Brasilia.
The price is for 2 person in a double room.
In São Jorge: Mundo dha Lua Pousada and in Cavalcante: Vila dos Ipês Pousada.

TIPS
- Programming - Program your travel in advance to guarantee reserves in lodges and to enjoy better your travel. Moreover, always take your adventure with trained and authorized guide.
- Climate - Chapada has two very defined seasons: the dry season, from April to October; and the rainy season, from October to May. Both seasons have singular beauties for the visitation.
- Trails - it is important to bring light clothes (t-shirts and trousers), bathing suits, canteen, comfortable tennis and already worn for walking, backpack, sunblock, hat or cap, repellent and camera. For rainy months a good light rain-coat is necessary.
- Clothes - Besides those mentioned above, bring a warm clothing for nights and light clothes for day.
- Money - In Alto Paraíso there is: Itaú (mon to fri from 9hr to 15hr) and agencies of Banco do Brasil (mon to fri from 9hr to 15hr). In the village of São Jorge there are no banks. There are no foreign currencies exchange either. In Cavalcante few establishments accept credit card. The main supermarket takes VisaElectron and RedeShop. The banks of the city are: Banco do Brasil (mon to fri from 9hr to 12hr – auto-assistance until to the 22hr) and Banco Bradesco (mon to fri from 9hr to 16hr – in the agency of the Post office). There are no foreign currencies exchange either. Bring money, creditcard and cash. Exchange your travellers checks at the airport.
- Communication - In Alto Paraíso and São Jorge have good signal of cellular and the local operators are: Vivo, Claro and BrasilTelecom. Alto Paraíso also has cybers cafe. Cavalcante has good cellphone service( only Vivo). It has cybers cafe too.
